The Ambulatory Interventional Radiology RN provides exceptional care for IR procedural and Radiology patients from admit, through procedure or exam, to recovery and discharge.

Nursing care provided by Ambulatory IR RN reflects the nursing process through an integration of knowledge, skills, experience, and teamwork needed to meet the needs of patients and families.

You will be exposed to a range of procedures such as biopsies, drain placements, tube checks, and more, with a strong focus on airway management while providing moderate sedation.

Teamwork and flexibility are essential attributes to the success of the Ambulatory IR team.

Position information:

Enjoy a schedule with: no nights, no weekends, no holidays, and no call.

Flexible hours: 4-10 hrs or 5- 8 hr shifts

ACLS must be completed prior to beginning unit orientation.

Moderate sedation experience preferred, but not required.

Qualifications:

  • A current and valid Washington State Registered Nurse License is required for this position.

  • CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work.

  • Other certifications may be required for specialty areas.
