Seattle Children's Hospital Registered Nurse- Plastic Surgery Clinic (0.6 FTE, Day/Eve) in Seattle, Washington
Our highly skilled Plastic Surgery team provides evaluation and treatment for children with a variety of congenital and acquired conditions. This includes a subspecialty multidisciplinary Brachial Plexus clinic (the only such clinic in a 5 state area) for children with brachial plexus palsies from birth injuries or trauma, and other nerve injuries. Our nursing team supports our patients and families by providing pre and postoperative teaching, postoperative phone calls, phone triage, and complex care coordination. May need to travel to other regional sites such as Bellevue, to help support clinic needs.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Two (2) years of current RN experience OR one (1) year of current RN experience in an inpatient unit, Ambulatory clinic, Emergency Room, or Urgent Care.
-Current Washington State RN License
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers is required for all positions. Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) will be accepted in lieu of BLS for Healthcare Providers.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Current Pediatric Plastic Surgery experience
Current pediatric and/or ambulatory nursing experience
Current outpatient surgery experience
Recent experience with care coordination
