Project Coordinator - Nursing Professional Development Job ID2018-26564Area of Interest Project/Program Management Location Name Hospital Main Campus FTE/Hours per pay period 1.0 FTE (80 hours per bi-weekly pay periods) Work Status Regular Department Clinical Services Admin Shift Day Shift Overview The Project Coordinator works closely with Seattle Children’s nurse leaders and provides coordination of a diverse range of projects related to Nursing Practice, Professional Development, and Innovation. In addition, this role is responsible for scheduling and supporting departmental meetings and calendar management for senior nurse leaders. The role is part of a broader team of administrative professionals, who work together to drive continuous improvement in departmental processes. Requirements Required Education/Experience: - High School Diploma or equivalent - Minimum of two (2) years college coursework in Business, Project Management, Human Services or related field - Minimum of three (3) years progressively responsible experience in administration/customer service, with one (1) year project coordination experience - Demonstrated experience in drafting, editing and creating written communications and/or reports. Required Credentials: - N/A Preferred: - Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Project Management, Marketing, or related field - At least two (2) years experience serving as a project coordinator.
