Swedish Medical Centeris looking for a Medical Assistant, Licensed MA-C (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to workin the Bariatric Surgery and Non-Surgical Weight Loss Services atSwedish First Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Medical Assistant,Licensed MA-C plays a vital role on the patient care team, demonstrating theSwedish values of patient-centered care and service; respect, caring andcompassion; teamwork and partnership; continuous learning and improvement; andleadership.
In this position youwill:
Greet and room patients in theclinic setting
Obtain vital signs and gatherpertinent patient information
Provide patient education aboutprocedures and medications as directed
Required qualificationsfor this position include:
Graduate of a certified medicalassistant program
Washington State MedicalAssistant Certified or Medical Assistant Interim certification
Current CardiopulmonaryResuscitation (CPR) or ability to obtain within one month of hire
Preferred qualificationsfor this position include:
Minimum of one year of experienceworking as a medical assistant
Computer keyboard skills
Experience using ElectronicMedical Records (EMR)
Current Basic Life Support(BLS) certification
