Swedish Medical Center Clinical Supervisor - Emergency Department in Seattle, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Clinical Supervisor (0.5 FTE, Evenings) to work in our Emergency Department at Swedish-Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for coordinating patient care and nursing service activities consistent with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
In this position you will:
Supervise the Emergency Department Staff
Direct the professional nursing care for patients in the assigned area
Active in rounds with patients to obtain insight into care provision and patient satisfaction
Establish strong rapport with physicians, staff and peers
Work with the manger to develop, implement, and monitor unit based quality improvement programs
Comply with established operational plan, staffing pattern and operating budget
Required qualifications for this position include:
Nursing Baccalaureate degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing required.
Current License to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Washington
Current (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Clinical Experience as a Registered Nurse
Minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical experience with demonstrated clinical knowledge and leadership qualities. At least two years of supervisory or charge experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
