As part of the sales team, the Clinical Education Manager will work to achieve a clinical close in the targeted accounts for the client product line. The Clinical Education Manager will work to increase awareness, acceptance, and utilization of targeted immunoassays in selected accounts through education and development of key opinion leaders. This will include evaluating current institutional treatment guidelines, recommendations on improving these through the use of client products and providing education on the clinical utility of client diagnostic product line to current and future customers. Adoption of recommended clinical pathways is key to providing maximum customer value. Additionally, support of sales team will be provided through clinically based training and education on utilization of diagnostic results. The Clinical Education Manager has shared responsibility with the Immunoassay Specialist for achieving the territory sales goals and maintaining existing customers within a territory as defined by Client. The CEM will be able to work in collaboration, as well as independently to seek out and schedule education in new and existing accounts, keep detailed spreadsheet analytics, and update the team on progress within the region. The role requires travel within the region, 75% of the time. Accountabilities include: Evaluating current institutional treatment guidelines, recommendations on improving these through the use of client products and providing education on the clinical utility of client’s Emergency Medicine diagnostic product line to current and future customers. Adoption of recommended clinical pathways is key to providing maximum customer value. Additionally, support of sales team will be provided through clinically based training and education on utilization of diagnostic results. The Clinical Education Manager has shared responsibility with the Immunoassay Specialist for achieving the territory sales goals and maintaining existing customers within a territory as defined by Client. Provide education to hospital personnel on clinical pathways and clinical utility of Emergency Diagnostic products, focused on Emergency Medicine, ICU, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Laboratory, Risk Management and Administration. a) Focus areas of Emergency Medicine, ICU, Pulmonology, Cardiology, Laboratory, Risk Management and Administration. b) Provide formal presentations as well as informal trainings. c) Facilitate intradepartmental communication to maximize patient solutions within institution. d) Conduct In-Servicing at key sites Qualifications: 4 year Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university is required (Nursing associate degree with accompanying RN certification from an accredited program may be acceptable with non-nursing bachelor degree). Advanced health care management or Public Health Degree with experience in hospital based clinical process Education and improvement may also be acceptable, i.e., MPH, PhD, NP, PA. Minimum of 3 years nursing experience as RN in ER/ICU/CCU/Trauma. Current licensed Registered Nurse in state of residence. Management/Supervisor experience preferred. Sales experience or corporate experience as an educator required. Knowledge of Laboratory workflow and fiscal operations. Knowledge of medical institution hierarchy.
