Providence is calling a Wound Care Specialist Registered Nurse (RN) ( Home Health , Day Shift, 1.0 FTE) to Providence Hospice & Home Care of Snohomish County in Everett, Washington. $10K sign on bonus may be available for external applicants.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for providing evaluation, nursing services, consultation and education for staff regarding wound care.
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop plans of care, coordinate with other disciplines and provide direct patient care.
Function independently and/or in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team based on the patient's identified needs.
Utilize software programs for the maintenance of patient records and communication with team members.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Current Washington State Registered Nursing License
Certified as a Wound Care Specialist or Enterostomal Therapist through the Wound/Ostomy Continence Nurse Society (WOCNS)
Current Healthcare Provider Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Current Washington State driver’s license and access to daily use of an insured, reliable vehicle
Proof of current auto insurance
2 or more years of full time experience practicing as a Registered Nurse with 1 year of recent clinical experience (within the last 3 years) in a Medicare certified home care or hospice agency/facility doing intermittent visits and case management
