Swedish Medical Center RN - ECT in Issaquah, Washington
Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Registered Nurse (1.0 FTE, Days) to work in the Electro Convulsive Therapy Unit at Swedish Issaquah in Issaquah, WA.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care adapted to individual patient needs based on the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
In this position you will:
Assume leadership, responsibility and accountability for designated patients in the pre-procedure, treatment, and post-procedure/post-anesthesia care area within the ECT treatment program
Provide care to the patient in each stage of the treatment process
Work in the pre admit and the recovery areas of the unit
Required qualifications for this position include:
Nursing Baccalaureate degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing or must actively pursue and attain a BSN within six years of hire
Current License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
Current BLS and ACLS Certification
Minimum of one year post-anesthesia patient or procedural sedation recovery care, or emergency medical nursing care
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Experience with procedural nursing
