Providence Health & Services Registered Nurse Examiner - SAC in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse to the Sexual Assault Center at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
We are seeking a compassionate and caring Registered Nurse (RN) to provide physical, forensic and emotional evaluation of sexual assault patients without physician presence.
In this position you will:
Provide safe, effective nursing care.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care needs for patients in a variety of care settings.
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
Perform medical forensic evaluation.
Complete mandatory reports to Child Protection Services, Adult Protection Services, and/or law enforcement within 48 hours and document according to protocol.
Respond to subpoena requests in a timely manner, participate in pre-trial preparatory and judicial interviews and/or depositions, and document interactions appropriately.
Be required to meet on call shift requirements.

requiring that all nurses be either BSN-prepared or achieve their BSN within five years of hire.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) - required within 5 years of hire
One (1) year direct patient care/acute care RN experience
