Whidbey General Hospital LPN, HHC in Coupeville, Washington
The Home Health Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) utilizes the nursing process to perform skilled nursing functions in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, federal regulations, and state laws and guidelines; contributes to the patient’s assessment, participates in development of the plan of care, implements aspects of care as directed, maintains patient safety, and provides direct patient care per the patient’s individual plan of care and in accordance with Agency policies and procedures under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of one (1) year of recent Home Health experience preferred. Minimum of two (2) years general nursing experience (Med/Surg, Critical Care, or Long Term Care) preferred. Current LPN License in the State of Washington required. Current Healthcare Providers BLS Certification required. Must maintain a valid Washington State Driver’s License, personal automobile insurance and be insurable with the District’s Insurance Carrier.
